Sindh Govt lifts ban on pillion riding in Karachi

The Government of Sindh has issued a notification to end ban on pillion riding in Karachi. The ban remained imposed for last two years. It is the forth time the ban has been lifted in Karachi. The ban on pillion riding in Karachi was imposed in 2008. Three times, orders were issued to lift the ban but later on, they were withdrawn on recommendation of the police department. Now, the notification has been issued and the ban is immediately lifted. Citizens have appreciated the decision to end the ban on pillion riding.
