MQM protests against Pakistan govt outside White House in Washington

The protesters said that they are all set to protest in New York once they get green signal from UN.

WASHINGTON (Web Desk) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) staged protest outside White House in Washington over continuous reprisal against refugees in Pakistan, reported on Monday.

Expressing solidarity with the workers who are conducting hunger strike in Karachi, MQM activists chanted slogans against the government by holding placards and MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s picture.

On the occasion, speakers said that government and intelligence agencies are busy in negotiating with Taliban and neglect serious talks with MQM to sort the internal issues.

Talking to Dunya News reporter, MQM leaders said that they have also planned to demonstrate outside United Nations in New York for which, an application seeking permission has been sent to the authorities.

The protesters said that they are all set to protest in New York once they get green signal from UN.
