Leader of Pakistan Peoples Party Senator Safdar Abbasi has said that Asif Ali Zardari has failed to lead the party and that mafias are controlling the party. He added that he would continue treading on the path of truth regardless of anyone calling him rebel or whatever. Talking to the media in the office of Sardar Hur Bukhari in Lahore, Naheed Khan said that pictures of late Benazir Bhutto are used situationally and that non-serious attitude is being shown in the assassination case of Benazir Bhutto. She said that Asif Ali Zardari has isolated himself from the affairs of the party and he has hidden inside the presidency. Naheed Khan added that today PPP lacks leadership in Punjab, KhyberPakhtunkhwa, Sind and Baluchistan. Senator Safdar Abbasi said that a gap is created between the party leadership and workers. He also said that he and his colleagues are supporting truth even though they belong to the ruling party. Safdar Abbasi was of the view that the implementation of GST would create a great wave of inflation in the country. The senator added that a majority of the party workers are silent and they are not willing to defend their party.
