DPC organises Kashmir Caravan rally from Safari Park to Shahrah-e-Quaideen
Leaders of religious, political parties vowed to continue efforts till Kashmir's independence
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) on Sunday organised a rally by the name of ‘Kashmir Caravan’ Safari Park to Gulshan-e-Iqbal on the occasion of the Independence Day in order to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir, reported Dunya News.
The rally was attended by hundreds of workers of Difa-e-Pakistan Council. The participants held national flags in their hands and raised slogans showing their love for the country. Leaders of the rally stated that the government should clearly state its policy regarding Kashmir.
While addressing the participants of the rally, Darul Uloom Haqqania chief Maulana Samiul Haq stated that Jihad needs to be carried out for Kashmir and for the defence of Pakistan. Jamat ud Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed stated that Quaid-e-Azam’s commands were not followed after his death, further demanding that the government needs to clearly state its policy on Kashmir.
Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rasheed addressed the caravan and stated that the decision of the country’s politics shall be made within the next 25 days. He said that if voice was not raised for Kashmir now then peace shall never be established in Karachi and Balochistan.
Leaders of various other religious and political parties addressed the rally and vowed to continue their efforts until Kashmir gains independence.
