Dunya TV receives CCTV footage of CID building blast
Dunya News has received the CCTV footage moments just before the recent Karachi CID building blast. Different investigative agencies are also probing the incident with the help of this CCTV footage, Dunya News reported on Tuesday. According to the footage a white truck is seen on the road at around 8.17 which is completely covered from all the sides. Many people could also be seen in the background but it is not clear as to how many people are there in the truck due to darkness. A blast occurred at 8.21 after which dust prevailed all around while a chaotic situation made people run about here and there to save their lives. The investigative agencies are still finding a clue about the exact route of the truck to reach the CID building. According to the sources, all the investigative agencies are agreed upon the fact that truck was used for the blast. Investigative agencies are of the view that the truck passed through such roads as lacked CCTV cameras. There is another probability that the truck might have passed through the PIDC bridge to reach the CID building. Investigative agencies have said that, alongwith other evidences, this CCTV footage would go along way in helping the investigation of this unfortunate situation. The identifying of the culprits involved in the blast has become a challenge for the police and they have broadened the scope of their investigation.
