Hoshab: 3 terrorists killed in FC, intelligence agencies operation
At least four hideouts of the terrorists were also destroyed during the operation.
HOSHAB (Dunya News) – At least three terrorists of a banned outfit were killed in a joint operation by Frontier Corps (FC) and intelligence agencies in Kalwa area of Hoshab in Balochistan on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to an FC spokesman, an exchange of fire took place between terrorists and personnel law enforcement agencies during which local commander of a banned outfit Akhtar Nadeem and two of his accomplices were killed.
At least four hideouts of the terrorists were also destroyed during the operation while seven other suspects were detained from the area. The law enforcement agencies have also recovered two SMGs, four rifles, three shotguns, hundereds of bullets, anti-state literature and narcotics from the dead terrorists hideouts.
The spokesman further informed that the terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces and damage to sensitive installations.
In a separate operation, FC recovered locally manufactured mine, weighing eight kilogram, from Fong Colony area in Sui. FC also recovered 70 kilogram of hashish from a vehicle during checking in Machh area.
