AJK Assembly to elect PM today
PML-N has nominated Raja Farooq Haider Khan as its candidate for the slot.
AZAD KASHMIR (Web Desk) – The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Assembly is all set to meet in Muzaffarabad to elect its Prime Minister today (Sunday).
Sources told that the members will elect leader of the House while the elected leader of the house will also take oath of his office in Muzaffarabad this evening.
Pakistan Muslim Leaque-Nawaz (PML-N) has nominated Raja Farooq Haider Khan as its candidate for the slot.
On the other hand, Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has also issued a schedule for selection of the AJK president. The nomination papers for presidency would be submitted on August 11.
