Punjab Assembly: Resolution to legislate strict laws against child kidnapping passed
These crimes had been taking place because of no proper law legislated in this regard: Resolution
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Assembly member Hina Pervaiz Butt from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) presented a resolution against frequent child kidnappings and demanded to put forth strict law against this heinous crime, reported Dunya News.
The resolution stated that media was reporting the kidnapping of children on everyday basis and these crimes had been taking place because of no proper law was legislated in this regard. The House in the matter, recommended proper law to prevent such crimes, the resolution stated.
It also stated that the culprits should be held accountable and brought to justice against such crimes.
