Four persons were killed and 10 others injured when rival groups clashed following a dispute near this northwestern Pakistani city today. The incident occurred in Marozai village on the outskirts of Peshawar. A 'jirga' or tribal council of rival groups led by Gul Wali and Sher Muhammad was underway to settle a dispute when the two sides exchanged harsh words. The jirga then turned into a battleground as supporters of both groups started firing at each other indiscriminately. Four persons were killed instantly. Police rushed to the site and took the injured to Lady Reading Hospital. Police also registered case.
