Met department predicts heavy rainfall in next 24 hours

Met department has also forecasted two pre-monsoon rains next week.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Scattered rain/dust-thundershowers with isolated heavy falls and strong gusty winds is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal divisions), Islamabad, Kashmir , FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan in the next 24 hours today (Thursday).

Meanwhile, isolated rain/dust- thundershower is expected in south Punjab (Multan, D.G Khan, Bahawalpur divisions).

In the next 48 hours, downpour is predicted in upper Punjab, Islamabad and Kashmir.
However; hot and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country during day time.

Met department has also forecasted two pre-monsoon rains next week.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad and Peshawar 24°C, Lahore 27°C, Karachi 29°C, Quetta 19°C, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad 20°C and Murree 16°C.
