Suhail Anwar Sial ordered that the police station be closed at once

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Efforts made by Dunya News seem to be fruitful as Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal ordered that the girls’ primary school in Ghotki, which was turned into a police station, be restored to its original shape and also ordered that no schools in future should be converted into police stations, reported Dunya News on Sunday.

Government Girls Primary School Hayat Pitafi was converted into a police station three years ago. Since then, no educational activities took place in the school as the girls of the area were deprived off their very basic right of being educated.

One of the policemen told Dunya News that the school had to be converted into a police station as the government did not approve the construction of one in the area. Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Ghotki Masood Bangash assured Dunya News that action shall be taken in regards to the matter.

Later, Suhail Anwar Sial ordered that the police station be closed at once and the school be returned to its original shape and directed that no schools in future should be converted into police stations.
