Dr Asim's wife undergoing blood cancer's treatment in London
Dr Asim is the only political prisoner of the current government, says his representative
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A representative of incarcerated Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Dr Asim has stated that his wife, Dr Zareen, is suffering from blood cancer and is currently undergoing treatment in London, reported Dunya News on Wednesday.
The representative said that Dr Asim is quite concerned over the condition of his wife, adding that Dr Asim himself is suffering from back pain whereas a panel of doctors has suggested him to undergo a Medical Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan.
The representative further stated that Dr Asim is the lone political prisoner of the current government.
