Met office forecasts spell of rains in parts of country from Sunday

PMD has warned about very hot and dry weather for next two days.

LAHORE (Web Desk) - Pakistan Meteorological Department office has warned about very hot and dry weather for next two days all over the country, reported on Saturday.

According to details, low pressure area lies over north Balochistan with its trough extending south eastward. Continental air would prevail over most parts of the country during next few days.

The Met office has also predicted spell of rains from Sunday evening as a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect upper parts of the country.

Cloudy weather with strong gusty winds is also likely in Karachi.

In next 24 hours, mainly very hot and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country. Very hot weather conditions would continue over plain areas of Punjab, KP, Sindh (Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad divisions), Sibbi & Makran divisions.

However, light rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds or duststorm is expected at isolated places in FATA, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, and Faisalabad, Lahore divisions and Islamabad during Saturday evening.
