Obama telephones Zardari, invites him to visit USA
The president of the USA Barrack Hussain Obama has telephoned president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and formally invited him to visit the USA. The US president reitrated his countrys support for a democratic Pakistan. The recently held strategic dialogue was also discussed during the call between the two presidents. Bilateral relations as well as the regional situation was also discussed in the conversation. The two leaders welcomed the third and successful round of strategic dialogue. The two leaders also pledged to work together for fighting the menace of terrorism, regional stability and development. According to sources, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was also present with the president during the conversation.
