TDAP scandal: Yousaf Raza granted protective bail over 5 more cases

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Legal experts of Former Prime Minister (PM) Yousaf Raza Gilani on Wednesday have submitted documents of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) case in the court and stated that protective bail should be approved in order for Gilani to appear before special Judge Anti-Corruption Karachi, reported Dunya News.

Federal government, Interior Ministry, Director General (DG) Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Director FIA have been mentioned as third party in the petition. Lawyer Farooq H. Naek said that protective bail has been approved for 21 cases while Gilani has been accused in 5 new cases.

Islamabad High Court ordered Gilani to submit Rs 1 hundred thousand per case with surety bonds and approved protective bail for 10 days. Gillani has been directed to refer to trial court within 10 days.
