PM says he will serve country with greater passion after medical examination

LONDON (Dunya News) - Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif while addressing the media outside his residence stated that he has come to United Kingdom (UK) for a medical checkup. In an answer to a question regarding the hotly debated Panama Leaks issue PM Nawaz stated that nobody will be allowed to stand in the way of progress of the country. Without naming Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf  (PTI) chairman, PM Nawaz stated that certain individuals keep on looking for incidents or happenings to criticise the government, reported Dunya News.

PM Nawaz said that he will be able to serve the country with greater passion after the medical examination. While targetting his political adversaries, PM said that a negative role does not suit any politician and that no one will be allowed to be an obstacle in Pakistan s path towards prosperity.

Lambasting PTI PM Nawaz stated that the government tolerated the drama that was played during 2014, adding that the political rivals must not test the government s tolerance level again.

He said that the country is craving for prosperity, such traditions need to be made that set the country towards progress. While discussing about his past relations with Pakistan Peoples Party s (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, PM Nawaz said that he never tried to topple Zardari s government for once while he was president and that relationship with the PPP co-chairman in the past was quite sound. He stated that he never believed in the "politics of resignations".

He appreciated PPP s decision not to take part in PTI s sit-in at Raiwind, adding that if he had to settle matters, he would head to Panama not London.
