NA session reveals Rs 26 billion corruption in Pakistan Steel
13000 additional workers in the mill are nothing more than a burden on steel mill: Rao Ajmal
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Parliamentary Secretary for Industries and Production Rao Ajmal presented call-attention notice in National Assembly (NA) session on Wednesday and said that corruption worth Rs 26 billion has been detected in Pakistan Steel, reported Dunya News.
Action against corruption is National Accountability Bureau (NAB)’s discretion and his department can do nothing regarding corruption, he added.
Ajmal also said that Pakistan Steel has been closed for 8 months. Sindh government proposed to buy the corporation but no response has been received yet. 13000 additional workers in the mill are nothing more than a burden on steel mill, he ended.
