Followers of all religion similar to one body: Commander Southern Command
General Amir expressed his best wishes for the Christian community over the festival of Easter
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Commander Southern Command Lieutnant General Amir Riaz greeted the Christian community over the holy festival of Easter on Sunday, stating that the future of the country is bright and that the path towards prosperity can be achieved through unity, reported Dunya News.
While addressing to the Christian community gathered at the Holy Rosary Church in Quetta on the occasion of Easter, General Amir expressed his best wishes for the Christians of the country and stated that all such elements that promote hatred on the basis of religion, sect and language must be curbed.
He added that those who spread extremism in the country are not just damaging the state but are destroying themselves as well.
General Amir further said that the future of the country is bright and that the path of prosperity can be covered only through unity. He said that followers of all religions in the country are similar to one body.
Commander Southern Command distributed gifts among the Christian community at the occasion as well.
