IG Sindh suspends all the 'recommended' recruitments of the last 8 months
New recruitments will be based on merit: IG Sindh
KARACHI (Dunya News) – IG Sindh A.D Khawaja on Monday said that police recruitments will be based on merit as he has rejected all the recommended appointments of the last 8 months, reported Dunya News.
Meeting with the business community of PCCI, new appointed IG Sindh A.D Khawaja said that Sindh police has decades-old problems that will take time to solve.
He also said that police and rangers have brought peace in the city however orders have been issued to increase bike patrol in order to counter street crime.
With respect to mafia activities and extortion complaints from businessmen IG Sindh said that such elements will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against them.
