PM Nawaz directs MPs to focus on improving standard of living of masses
Parliamentarians called on the Prime Minister in Islamabad today.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said that all the development and welfare schemes should focus on improving the standard of living of the people and directed that irritants, if any, must be removed expeditiously.
He said this while talking to MNAs Mian Javed latif, Dr. Shezra Mansab and Hafiz Abdul Karim at PM House.
The Parliamentarians briefed the Prime Minister on development priorities in their respective constituencies and apprised him of problems pertaining to various welfare and uplift schemes in their respective areas.
They praised the Prime Minister on turning around Pakistan’s economy, initiating infrastructure development projects across the country and reviving the progressive image of Pakistan.
Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the overall security situation in the country has improved significantly, the Parliamentarians said.
On the occasion, Nawaz Sharif said the purpose of all the projects and schemes is to serve and empower the people, and the Parliamentarians should focus their energies to that end in order to earn the confidence and trust of the masses.
He assured the Parliamentarians of his all-out support in timely execution of various development and welfare schemes in the constituencies of the Parliamentarians.
