'Don't call him killer'; Moazzam Ali's wife sends legal notice to Kamal
Ali's spouse has also demanded a public apology from Kamal otherwise legal action shall be taken.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former Mayor Karachi Mustafa Kamal was seen in hot water Wednesday as the wife of Moazzam Ali, one of the prime accused in slain Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Imran Farooq’s murder case, sent a legal notice to Kamal for calling her husband a ‘killer’ during his controversial press conference earlier. Ali’s spouse, Sadia Bano, has also demanded a public apology from the former Mayor otherwise legal action shall be taken, she said.
Bano stated that Kamal, in his press conference on 13th March, referred to her husband as a murderer whereas his case was still under hearing and no decision has yet been taken by the court pertaining to the case.
The legal notice sent through Advocate Johar Abid states that Kamal’s statements had tarnished the reputation of Ali and his family for which Kamal should offer a public apology.
