WASHINGTON (Dunya News) – US on Saturday has issued a notification for the provision of 8 F-16 fighter jets to Pakistan. According to the notification, Pakistan will be supplied 8 F-16 fighter jets along with equipment worth an overall amount of 699.4 million USD.
The issued notification also states that the deal not only fulfills the security needs of a significant South Asian ally but is also in the interests of US national security.
The notification further adds that the deal does not represent any danger to the other countries of the region instead it will aid Pakistan in fighting the war against terrorism.
