PTI demanded apology for insulting remarks about Punjab Assembly over Women Protection Bill
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday submitted resolution condemning Jamiat Ulema Islam – Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman and demanded apology from him over insulting remarks against Punjab Assembly for passing Women Protection Bill, reported Dunya News.
The resolution presented by PTI member of Punjab Assembly Sadia Suhail stated that the House condemned JUI-F leader’s ridiculing statement about Punjab Assembly. The resolution said that Fazl was giving insulting remarks about members of Punjab Assembly after the passing of Women Protection Bill.
The resolution declared the statements issued by Fazl as contrary to the facts and demanded apology from him over contemptuous remarks.
