Shehlaz Raza scolded Irum Azeem Farooqui, Khawaja Izhar offers Shehla Raza to take tuitions from him

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Sindh Assembly Deputy Speaker Syeda Shehla Raza on Thursday continued to clash with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) members throughout the session. While MQM member Irum Azeem Farooqui was scolded by Shehla Raza, Irum’s colleague Khawaja Izhar ul-Hassan offered Shehla Raza to take tuitions from him, reported Dunya News.

Sindh Assembly session proved to be as explosive as ever. As Khawaja Izhar ul-Hassan tried to move the adjournment motion regarding illegal appointments in Education department after the Question-Answer session, it was opposed by the treasury benches. When Shehla Raza tried to reject the motion, Izhar ul-Hassan said that the deputy speaker knew nothing about the rules. Shehla Raza got livid over the remark by Izhar ul-Hassan.

As the clash between Khawaja Izhar and the deputy speaker came to an end, Education Minister Nisar Khuhro presented Karachi Institute of Technology Bill. Irum Farooqui tried to talk on the bill but was denied the chance and started talking out of turn, upon which Shehla Raza scolded her.

MQM workers were livid with Shehla Raza over her attitude and started raising ‘Go Shehla Go’ slogans. Amid this noise in the assembly, the session was adjourned till 3 PM on Friday afternoon.
