MQM's hunger strike against ban on telecast and publishing of Altafs speeches, address
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) continued its hunger strike against the ban on publishing and telecasting MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s speeches on the second day (Saturday) as well, reported Dunya News.
The symbolic hunger strike continued outside Karachi Press Club on Day-2. Members of MQM Rabita Committee, members of national and provincial assemblies along with members of civil society, lawyers and workers participated in the symbolic hunger strike in large numbers.

MQM’s Mayor-elect of Karachi Waseem Akhtar said that the number of participants in the hunger strike increased three times on the second day, compared to the first. Revered artist, and social worker, Sheema Kirmani also joined the hunger strike.
