Dunya News

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the entry of Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Federal Law Minister in Punjab could be banned while Governor Salman Taseer could also be put under house arrest for the trio has been trying to stoke sectarianism in the province. Talking to Dunya News, the minister said, Both Babar and Rehman are trying to fuel sectarianism in the province, adding that, the provincial government has got evidence in this regard. Whenever both of them go to any aggrieved family for condolence after any terrorist attack, they openly term Punjab government unsuccessful and hold it responsible for the attack, a fuming law minister said. Rana alleged Taseer of doing all this by the nod of Interior Minister and federal Law Minister. Governor Taseer do such acts on the behest of Rehman Malik and Babar Awan. The minister further alleged that the statements of the trio, ensuing the Data Shrine and Karbala Gamay Shah attacks, showed that they wanted to stoke sectarianism in Punjab. In view of their nasty statements, I would call upon the Punjab government to put a ban the entry of Babar Awan and Rehman Malik in the province and put Taseer under house arrest in Muharram, the minister maintained.
