Once again, a new wave of targeted killing hit Karachi as 5 political activists among 8 people have been gunned down while four others injured on Monday. According to police, a man has been gunned down near Malir Kala Board while another got seriously injured in firing by some unidentified felons, who later died on the way to hospital. Unknown gunmen opened fire on three Ahle-Sunnat-Wal-Jamaat activists sitting on footpath near UP Mor Kashif Bakery, of whom two namely Nabeel and Noman died on the spot while one Ansar died in the hospital. Another political activist Farhan Ghayyas was gunned down in the limits of Yousuf Plaza Police Station. Dilawar, a political activist has been killed in Korangi while Tanveer Abbas met the same fate in Rizvia Society while four people got injured in Malir.
