CTD recovered huge amount of arms and explosives from terrorist possession

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested 11 terrorist in Baldia Ittehad Town operation in Karachi over information of intelligence agencies, reported Dunya News.

According to details, CTD recovered huge amount of arms and explosives from terrorist s possession. The seized items included 10 grenades, five rocket launchers, Kalashnikovs and other explosive materials. CTD incharge said that the terrorist were making plan to attack at a Government building in same way as they did at Airport. According to reports, anti-terror police carried out a search operation in Baldia Ittehad Town area of Karachi after receiving information about the presences of the terrorists in the area. During anti-terror raid, CTD personnel arrested eleven suspected terrorists including two commanders of Al-Qaeda and Lashker-Jhangvi. Talking to media, CTD incharge Ali Raza said that surgical based raid was carried out in the Muhammad Khan colony on the tip of secret agencies.
