US condemns Bacha Khan University attack
United States on Wednesday condemned the attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda.
WASHINGTON (Dunya News) – The US State Department deputy spokesperson Mark C. Toner in a press statement said that the United States strongly condemns terrorist attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda on Wednesday in which 20 people, including 17 students, were killed.
“We offer our deepest condolences to the victims and their families during this time of grief,” State Department deputy spokesperson Mark C. Toner said.
He further said that it is particularly appalling that these terrorists continue to attack educational institutions, targeting Pakistan’s future generations.
“The United States stands with the government and people of Pakistan and their efforts to create a secure, stable, and prosperous country and we will stand side-by-side with Pakistan in its fight against terrorism,” he said.
