Husain Haqqani rejects Kh Asif's allegation

Pakistan got F-16s from US when he was ambassador, he said
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former Pakistani Ambassador Husain Haqqani on Tuesday said he doesn’t know what Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif is accusing him of, Dunya News reported.
In his tweet, Haqqani said Pakistan acquired F-16s from the United States (US) when he was the Pakistani Ambassador to the US.
Don't know what #Pakistan Def Min is blaming me for now. When I was ambassador, we got PAF F-16s from US https://t.co/SnNDRoW62A

Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif on Tuesday claimed former ambassador to the US is campaigning along with India to malign Pakistan and to block delivery of F-16 fighter jets.
Asif made the startling revelation during his briefing to the National Assembly. He told Pakistan is trying to acquire eight F-16 fighter jets from the US on lease but the former ambassador is trying to block the delivery.
Confirming anti-Pakistan lobbies on the US, he said India is also actively lobbying against Pakistan.
