Extension in Rangers' powers: Sindh govt notification still not issued
The CM, however, hasn't been able to decide on the summary yet
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh government is yet to issue notification to implement federation’s order on extension of Rangers’ special powers, Dunya News reported.
Reportedly, the provincial Home Department has sent a fresh summary to Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
According to details, the notification to implement federation’s direction over Rangers’ powers has still not been implemented. The sources said that the Sindh Home Department has sent a fresh summary in this regard to the CM Sindh.
The summary says the provincial government issues a separate notification to implement the direction of the federation.
The federation has issued the notification to give police’s authorities to the Rangers, in light of which, the summary seeks CM Sindh to decide on that.
The CM, however, hasn’t been able to decide on the summary yet.
