Electricity prices likely to decrease by Rs 1.97 per unit
Hearing on the reduction in tariff will commence on December 29
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) has sent an application to National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) for a price decrease of Rs 1.97 per unit on Wednesday, reports Dunya News.
CPPA has sent an application for decrease in price of electricity due to fuel adjustment surcharge for the month of November. The tariff on electricity production in November was Rs 5.32, as per NEPRA. Hearing on the reduction in tariff will commence on December 29 in NEPRA headquarter.
