Tahirul Qadri reaches Lahore
A large number of PAT workers greeted Dr Tahirul Qadri on his arrival at the Lahore airport.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri reached Lahore from Istanbul on flight KT-714 on early Tuesday morning. He returned Pakistan after staying abroad for five months, Dunya News reported.
PAT chief was warmly welcomed by a huge number of his party workers on his arrival at the Allama Iqbal International Airport. His two sons were also present at the airport on this occasion.
Tight security arrangements were made around airports on this occasion and vehicles were allowed to enter the airport after checking.
Talking to media after his arrival, PAT chief said that the alliance of corrupt people trying to make the Karachi operation a failure.
Dr Tahirul Qadri said that Model Town tragedy saw innocent citizens butchered to death, adding that they will never compromise on justice for the martyrs. He further said that people behind the Model Town massacre will hanged and promised to avenge assassination of each Model Town victim.
A spokesman of Minhajul Quran International informed media that PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri will address a press conference at 8:00am today.
