Three arrested as locals foil donkey slaughter bid in Ferozwala

FEROZWALA (Dunya News) – At least three suspects were apprehended as residents foiled a bid of donkey slaughter in Ferozwala today (Saturday).
According to details, people living in slum areas were slaughtering a donkey when locals stopped them and took them to the police after brutal torture.
The natives alleged that the suspects used to sell donkey meat to the hotels.
However, police have launched an investigation into the matter.
Earlier, police on a tip off foiled an attempt of donkey slaughter in Sahiwal and apprehended as many as three suspects.

The incident took place when a local informed the police about donkey’s slaughter bid in Sahiwal’s Railway Colony.
Police officers took at least three suspects including a woman into custody.
Separately in Kasur, security personnel have recovered a truck full of donkey’s hide and arrested a suspect identified as Arshad. The hides were taking to Lahore.
