The martyrdom anniversary of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S) is being observed across the country with religious spirit and reverence on Wednesday. Marking the occasion, Majalis-e-Aza were held and Taboot processions were taken out from all big and small cities and towns of all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas. In Rawalpindi, main Taboot procession in connection with the Shahadat of Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.) was taken out from Aza Khana Mubarik Bano, Mohanpura under the auspices of Syed Nayyar Hussain Zaidi. Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi participated in the procession, performed Ziarat of the Taburrakaat and took part in Matamdari. Senior office-bearers of the TNFJ, Ulama-e-Karaam, office-bearers and workers of District Ayyam-e-Aza Committee accompanied him. Police had made strict security arrangements to control any untoward situation. Hazrat Ali (A.S) was brought up under the shadow of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and that is why he is called as the treasure of knowledge, and the symbol of tolerance, bravery, generosity and eloquence. He played exemplary role in serving the religion of Islam and remained confronted with the enemies of religion and Shariat shattering the foundations of oppression, brutality and suppression till he embraced Shahadat.
