Judiciary not oblivious to issues of Balochistan: Chief Justice Jamali
Judiciary is boldly playing its vital role in solving the missing person's case, says CJ Jamali.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Chief Justice (CJ) Anwar Zaheer Jamali on Monday stated that the judiciary of Pakistan was not oblivious to the issues afflicting the province of Balochistan. CJ Jamali commented that those who criticize others should analyze themselves as well. Jamali stated that everybody talks about the truth but nobody fulfils their obligations.
CJ Jamali expressed these views while addressing a dinner event of the Balochistan Bar Association.
Addressing the invited guests, Jamali stated that the 2003 and 2007 Provincial Constitutional Order (PCO) judges’ cases along with a few High Court decisions have negatively impacted the judiciary.
Jamali stated the judiciary was not unaware of the missing person’s case. He reiterated that the judiciary was boldly playing its vital role in solving the missing people’s case in all provinces including Balochistan.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Justice stated that the past 68 years have spent in finding flaws in the judicial system; however, Jamali stated that speaking from his own experience he had not found any such shortcomings in the system which might cause a delay in the provision of justice.
