Govt appoints Mir Ghazanfar as new Governor for Gilgit-Baltistan
Newly appointed Governor Ghazanfar belongs to Hunza and will be replacing Barjees Tahir.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government on Friday has appointed Mir Ghazanfar as new Governor for the province of Gilgit-Baltistan. The government had earlier decided to replace the former Governor of the province.
According to Prime Minister (PM) House Spokesperson, PM Nawaz Shareef has decided to designate Ghazanfar as the new Governor.
The Spokesperson also stated that a notification pertaining to the appointment will be issued shortly.
Newly appointed Governor Ghazanfar belongs to Hunza and will be replacing former Governor Barjees Tahir.
