Gen Raheel visits Pentagon, meets top US military officials
COAS Gen Raheel Sharif held meetings with General Mark A Milley and General Joseph Dunford.
WASHINGTON (Dunya News) - Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif visited Pentagon, the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense, on Monday and held meetings with top ranking US military officials.
General Raheel Sharif, who is currently on a five day official viset to the United States also called on US army chief General Mark A Milley. They discussed war against terrorism and bilateral military-to-military relationship during their meeting.

Pakistan army chief also held a meeting with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford during which issues of mutual interest were discussed.
Army chief General Raheel Sharif also called on US defence secretary Ashton Carter during which successes and achievements of Pakistan army in the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb were discussed.
During his stay in the United States, General Raheel Sharif will also meet US Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of State John Kerry and members of the US congress.
