One local killed, four suspects apprehended in Karachi
Security officers have also launched an investigation into the matter.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The heinous offences in Karachi could not stop as at least one person was shot dead in recent firing incident in Zia Colony, area of Karachi today (Saturday) while the security personnel also apprehended as many as 4 suspects from Lyari.
The joint operation of Rangers and police is still successfully underway in different parts of Karachi. The officers conducted a door-to-door search operation in Lyari’s different areas and arrested 4 suspects.
Law enforcement personnel also claimed to have confiscated weapons from the possession of the detainees.
Meanwhile, officials in a raid in Lyari took 4 criminals into custody. The suspects have been shifted to some undisclosed place for interrogation.
Separately in Zia Colony, one person was gunned down in targeted shooting incident. The deceased identified as Asghar Gull has been shifted to hospital for post mortem and identification process whereas security officers have also launched an investigation into the matter.
The senior police official stated that Karachi operation was launched by government which is giving positive outcomes as dozens of extortionists, target killers and terrorists have been held so far.
He said that stern action will be continued until the end of last criminal from the metropolis.
