Mari Petroleum discovers oil, gas in Kalabagh's Karak block
Initially, 3.3 million cubic feet gas and 160 barrel crude oil is being dug out annually.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) announced on Saturday that they had discovered a new reserve of oil and gas in Kalabagh’s Karak block of Mianwali district, Punjab.
According to MPCL press release, in order to find out the reserve 3000m drilling was done.
Initially, 3.3 million cubic feet gas and 160 barrel crude oil is being dug out annually.
This is the second discovery made by MCPL in Kalabagh’s Karak block and is considered to increase the oil and gas demand and will also save foreign exchange.
