MQM's resignee MPA from Sindh Said ud-Din remained safe in firing incident in North Karachi
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has on Friday demanded security for its resignee members after an attack on its MPA from Sindh, Saif ud-Din, in North Karachi. Saif ud-Din Khalid remained safe in the firing incident. MQM has demanded security for the resignee members to ensure their safety, reported Dunya News.
Armed men opened fire on MQM leader Saif ud-Din’s car near his house in North Karachi but fortunately there was no damage done.
Holding a press conference at Khurshid Begum Secretariat after the incident, Saif ud-Din Khalid said that he was inside the car when the incident happened. He said that the armed men fled firing when the gunman opened fire at them.
Speaking on this occasion, MQM’s resignee MPA from Sindh Khawaja Izhar ul-Hassan said that the MQM members were being targeted by the terrorists. He asked the government to ensure the MQM leaders’ safety.
MQM leaders said that the FIR of the incident has been registered.
