Senate Standing Committee passes resolution against Indian aggression
International community, UN and European Union should take notice of Indian aggression: committee
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- At the meeting of Senate Standing Committee on Defence on Friday, a resolution against Narendra Modi s statements and Indian aggression was approved unanimously, reported Dunya News.
Senator Farhatullah Babar called for cutting out name of Narendra Modi from the resolution, a move that was rejected. Defence officials briefed during the meeting that India is conspiring to destabilize Pakistan and is interfering in Balochistan and FATA to divert attention from achievements of operation Zarb-e-Azb.
The officials said that India is not able to digest China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Pakistan s role for peace in Afghanistan adding that aggression will be given befitting reply.
A resolution against India was unanimously passed which stated that the international community, UN and European Union should take notice of Indian aggression.
Senator Farhatullah Babar called out for taking out the name of Narendra Modi from the resolution. Farhatullah Babar said that adding name of the Indian PM will isolate Pakistan. Defense Committee refused to remove Modi’s name from the resolution.
