Rasheed Godil's murder attempt: Suspect's sketch prepared
The sketch of the suspect involved in attempted murder of MQM leader Rasheed Godil prepared
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Sketch of the suspect allegedly involved in murder attempt on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Rasheed Godil has on Thursday been prepared and released. Sketches of the other aides are also being prepared, reported Dunya News.
It is pertinent to mention here that Rasheed Godil had been going to MQM’s head office Nine-Zero from his home when unidentified terrorists, riding a motorbike, opened fire on his car injuring Godil critically and killing his driver. He was immediately taken to the hospital where he was kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Rasheed Godil had received 5 to 6 bullets around his jaw, neck and chest. According to the doctors, the bullet piercing his chest had badly damaged his lungs.
The MQM leader was attacked at a time when MQM was in negotiations with the JUI-F leader over withdrawal of their resignations.
