Lady Health workers protest against non-payment of salaries in Peshawar
Protesters announced to boycott the anti-polio campaign until the authorities meet their demands.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Lady Health Workers in Peshawar have staged a protest and sit-in against non-payments of salaries and dues, Dunya News reported on Monday.
The workers blocked Sher Shah Suri Road and demanded to resolve the matter as early as possible. The protesters stated that the administration has not given them salaries. They further announced to boycott the anti-polio campaign until the authorities meet their demands.
The ongoing protest also irked residents.
