Missing doctor:LHC summons secretary defence on Aug 4
Lahore High Court on Tuesday summoned Secretary Defence regarding the case seeking recovery of the missing Dr Ali Abdullah, accused of treating the Qadianis hurt in an attack on their worship places, on August 4 in Lahore. Justice Ijaz Chaudhru of Lahore High Court was hearing the case. During the hearing, the petitioners counsel argued that Dr Ali has no links with any religious outfit, and alleged that a sensitive agency abducted him. On the occasion, mother of the said doctor told the court that ISI took away her son. Justice Ijaz asked Deputy Attorney General whether ISI is above law, and added that Dr Ali should be presented before the court if he is the real culprit. The court summoned the secretary defence and sought a reply from the sensitive agencies on August 4.
