PM Nawaz chairs high-level meeting to discuss country's security
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting in Islamabad.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today (Friday) chaired a high-level meeting in Islamabad to discuss different aspects of internal security and implementation of National Action Plan.
Army Chief General raheel Sharif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Special Assistant on National Security and Tariq Fatemi attended the meeting.
According to official sources, the meeting decided to continue indiscriminate action against terrorists under the National Action Plan.
The participants also agreed to expedite intelligence based operations. Initial report regarding terrorist attack on Punjab Home Minister Shuja Khanzada was also reviewed during the meeting.
