Indian government has dual standards on terrorism: Interior Minister

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar criticized international community over their apparent silence on the release of Swami Aseemand, the main architect of Samjhota Express on Friday. He said that international community has a dual policy for standards on terrorism, reported Dunya News.

Talking to media, Chaudhary Nisar said that it is very alarming situation that a the main architect of Samjhota Express, Swami Aseemand, has been released while evidence has also come to surface that Indian government tried to deter witnesses from recording their statements.

Asking tough questions, Chaudhary Nisar said that why is India, which is always raising its voice over Mumbai attack, silent on terrorism being conducted on its own soil. The dual attitude of India raises serious questions, he added.

He said that the release of a man who is responsible for death of 68 people only tells of the dual standard that Indian government has regarding terrorism.
