NAB arrests FDMA's former DG, assistant director in IDPs compensatory payment case

NAB spokesman revealed that Arshad Khan along with accomplices did fraud of Rs 6 crore.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday has apprehended Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) Disaster Management Authority’s (FDMA’s) former Director General Arshad Khan and former assistant director Irfan Ullah in a corruption of compensatory payment reserved for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), Dunya News reported.
According to FATA spokesman, the detained officials have been accused of using forged names for doing corruption in compensatory money.
As per details, amount of Rs 2.5 billion was announced by government for rehabilitation of IDPs. NAB spokesman revealed that Arshad Khan along with accomplices did fraud of Rs 6 crore.
