Healers at war: Senior, junior doctors clash at Mayo Hospital
No holds barred as 2 groups of doctors clashed in Lahore’s Mayo Hospital, trainees take on seniors
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Trainees and senior doctors on Monday clashed at Mayo Hospital and there were no holds barred as the brawling groups freely used kicks and punches at each other in an hour-long battle. The hospital looked like a battlefield as the healers went on war with each other, reported Dunya News.
According to details, the fight started when some trainee doctors demanded working along with the senior doctors in wards and seniors refused to register 2 of the trainees blaming them of being not on merit. Who did what after that can be seen in this video:
The clash continued for an hour. Trainee doctors said that the seniors went off the hook only because the juniors had demanded to work with them.
Mayo Hospital administration took notice of the matter and ordered an inquiry after which the trainee doctors temporarily called off their protest.
