Pakistan condemns US drone strike in North Waziristan
Pakistan routinely condemns US drone strikes.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Foreign Office Spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah on Friday condemned recent drone strike in the North Waziristan tribal region.
At least four to five people were killed on Thursday when the drone fired two missiles at a house in Alwar Mandi area of North Waziristan, where the Pak Army has been carrying out a major offensive against local and foreign militants since June last year.
The FO spokesperson said that such strikes are in disregard of our territorial sovereignty and international law.
He said these events also generate distrust among the local people. The spokesperson reiterated the call for cessation of such strikes.
